CHILDREN'S MINISTRY 

Our children's programs are for Children in grades 1-6.  Our goal is to place the building blocks of faith into the lives of our children so that they will have a strong foundation on which to build their faith as they grow and mature.  Through weekly programs and activities we strive to bring children to a saving knowledge of our Lord and then to lead them into a life of service for Him.

Children's programs are generally age divided and every attempt is made to offer programs that meet children on their individual levels.  As children grow and move up by grade we generally offer more and more "extra curricular" activities.  The purpose of special events and activities is to help children develop friendships that will encourage them in their walk with God. 

Sixth graders are allowed to participate in a limited amount of Junior High events during the summer between their 6th & 7th grade year; since they often attend school at the Jr. High Schools in our area.  Sixth graders are often just not ready to deal with issues on the same maturity level as 7th & 8th graders; for this reason we work to "transition" our sixth graders form the Children's Ministry to the Jr. High ministry over the summer after they complete the Sixth grade.
